What a colossal waste of time

Post by assy »

It's Friday again, and every Friday I scour the usual suspects for new shoeplay videos, wasting a few hours. For what, really? Last I checked I had close to 100GB of videos (nearly all edited no less to only keep the juicy bits and discard any filler) and yet I still search for new material. I spend far more time searching and editing clips than actually watching them.

Apart from annoying my wife when ogling other women's feet feeding this fetish feels such a futile use of time. When I get the urge I tend to go to the same few videos that do it for me. The rest is withering away in a shuffled playlist I call up occasionally.

If I would have used all this time to do something more productive - learning a new skill, spend more time with the family, do some extra work - I would probably feel much better (never mind having a new skill) than the reliable disappointment of not finding anything truly exiting during my weekly trawl.

I cannot even imagine how it is for the guys here that watch endless boring meetings and conferences to uncover one grainy heelpop.

What is your sentiment? Do you sometimes wish that you would not have this fetish? I tried to direct it into something more productive by qualifying as a reflexologist (was fun as I was the only guy on the course) but even that has not really changed anything.

I wished many times not to have this fetish in the past.
Someone would say man is always searching for something and not definitely finding anything: my cheap words ( cheap not your topic that indeed attracts me enough, cheap my words because i don't consider myself a specialist even thought i spent a lot of time and resources on the psycholigical side of certain matters during my life ) i personally consider a tedious research a procedure that we have to go through anyway in life like many tedious works out there, even more if there are a few chances of success, i am negative by nature and i come from a culture and family who was always busy doing something and trying to get a profit or at least positive results. I learned to see things in a new perspective tought during my phsychological pathway, in the last 10-15 years, not my personal words here i tell you, is just something i learned along the way with the help of a doctor, is that we need to feed the mind, feeding the spirit that's the point and this research, even if annoying and apparently detrimental, is part of it, so i learned to give it space and roll with it.

I get you 100%. I wouldn't say it's a waste of time...but it's certainly inconvenient.

Just from the standpoint of not being intrigued by something that many still find abhorrent, or at best, an "acceptable punching bag." In an era where we aren't supposed to shame kinks and quirks, foot partialism has enough mainstream awareness, and enough creepy adherents, that it's okay to poke fun at foot people. I don't want the world to know what I'm into, but it'd be nice if it weren't something that inspired outright disgust. (Especially given that, as we've beaten into the ground, there are so many different levels of interest.)

On a personal level, my interest is kind of a seasonal fetish. My wife is very accommodating, I must make that clear. And yet, she knows my laments as we get into early April and it's "too hot" (for her) to wear tights. Never mind when the sandals replace the ballet flats. At that point, it won't be until October that it's cool enough for her to bring out the hosiery again. I can't ask her to be uncomfortable for my sake.

And even in that good season...more often than not she has to trade the "cute" option for practicality at work, and by the time I get home, she's already changed into lounging pants and slippers to do stuff around the house. Even when we make time, sometimes it backfires. We booked a long weekend away this winter, a time for us to explicitly get a little dressed up, go out for dinner, maybe coax her into some public shoelessness. Our second night away, she got sick and we spent our last day with her resting at the hotel. Oh, well. What are you gonna do?

And yeah, I spend too much time watching for new content to arrive, but hoping to snare it and download it before it's deleted. I probably COULD be satisfied with the archive I have, but there's something to be said for novelty.

I don't know that I would trade it, but at times it'd be nice to be a little more conventional.

Not just so much time. Risk too. If I hadn't taking candids in hs I wouldn't have ruined my (already small) social life there. And like, the thought it always there. Same with looking for vids. You could spend hours looking through shit and not finding anything. Hell I don't even watch videos in detail, if it's not obvious I just skip to the next one. And then you get that random occurrence where a super awesome one comes up with little effort.

I just get frustrated that when going to some larger work meeting my first thought is "OK who has shoeplayable shoes on" and I know that will never go away. And I agree with you about cataloging stuff, I have so many GB's saved but I so rarely actually look at anything. That's why I started the rule of "if it's not at least an 8/10 video then I won't save it".

Same boat here. My wife used to be great about indulging me but now only thanksgiving and Christmas. She, like every other woman these days refuses to be “uncomfortable “ yet she makes me do chores that actually injure myself (I have MS).
Today’s women are lazy and entitled for the most part hence the slouchy attire. I hardly ever see a woman in nylons not even at church lately. I’m constantly looking though hoping for that one great opportunity. Funerals and high end business functions are about all that’s left here in NC.
Oh, my wife will however wear nylons at home just not anywhere else unless it’s winter and then her legs are too pale so she kinda has to. I also have probably 10 large usb drives of videos many of girls I’ve dated, others candid yet I still want new material.
