Well....the weddings that last longer than that are not a lot in Hollywood...so...

Chesney, Zellweger Call It Quits After 5 Months

Five months after saying "I do," country music star Kenny Chesney and Oscar-winning actress Renee Zellweger are calling it quits.

Chesney and Zellweger are getting their marriage annulled, according to People magazine.

The star couple married in May on St. John in the U.S Virgin Islands.

In a statement released to "Access Hollywood" shortly after the wedding, Chesney said: "I am incredibly happy. I may well be the luckiest man alive … to be so in love with someone who is so perfect for me, it's just hard to imagine that I'm not going to wake up."

Hitmaker Chesney won the Country Music Association's Entertainer of the Year honor in 2004.

Zellweger is known for her roles in such films as "Jerry Maguire," "Bridget Jones's Diary" and "Chicago."

She won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role in "Cold Mountain" in 2004.

But as we discussed in another thread, not all celebrity marriages are this disposable. For example, John Tesh and Connie Selleca have been married about 13 years.

It's not impossible, you just have to be careful.

I read a couple of the stories and it looks like they were together for about two years.

Now her second marriage is over and she'll be in a custody battle with "K-Fed" who has two kids with Britney and two with another woman. And he's 28 years old.

Oh well. Count your lucky stars gentlemen and stay away from this kind of crap.

I heard Gene Simmons of KISS commenting about celebrity marrigaes on some E! show a couple of years ago...

"Instead of getting married, just buy her a house. It's cheaper that way".

They are not married but I give Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt till September 2007.They will have pics of Jolie kissing another dude

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes will last until December 2007.Cruise is too much of a nutjob.
