My favorite decade for foot scenes is the 1930s. In 1933 "Flying Devils" was released. It's about barnstormers (stunt flyers) performing at carnivals. A goofy mechanic is always exaggerating his ability to fly so he can pick up women. He gets this one bimbo to go behind a carnival canvas sign and let him remove her high heel as she takes off a black stocking so he can wear it around his neck. She wonders why he wants it and he makes up some stuff as they walk off together, with her in her high heels and one black stocking.
