Scene in movie Impromptu

This 1991 movie has an under the table scene with Bernadette Peters and Hugh Grant. They are seated next to each other a dinner party in the 19th century. Peters slips a stockinged foot out of her pump and rubs it on Grant's boot. He looks down and tries to shake her loose. She must pull back because she is then scene with the foot back under her own chair and she grabs at his leg with her hand, giving him a coughing fit and he gets up and leaves the room.
