Timestamp yt comment issue workaround?

I've been reading in this forum about the concern of comments with shoeplay timestamps. How the yt channel could notice and do something about it.

I wanted to discuss a solution with the extension SponsorBlock. For people who doesn't know it, it works a in-video adblock, you know when a youtuber starts "...This video is sponsored by..." right? The extension setup two timestamps with several allegations you can opt for and send it to their servers, so everyone else using the extension will skip the time automatically.

One of the categories you can pick is "highlight", slightly different from the others, this one have a single timestamp input, and sounds like it was meant for "skip right to important topic of the video" so... I wonder why not use it to setup sp minutes?
A very welcomed plus is that, if the comment section is turned off, you can use the extension instead of comment minutage.


My concern is about this be considerated bad use and our user(IP, token or whatever) gets banned from use it forever.
Also... if people don't commit using it, since its community based, turns out useless or one-man-harsh-work alone.

Any thoughts?

I have no idea what I just read. Are you trying to leave comments on Youtube videos but don't want the channel to see your comments? How about NOT leaving any comments on videos that have nothing to do with foot fetish. Even foot fetish videos(rare on Youtube) never have intelligent comments on them.
