The series itself is a Hungarian-Austrian co-production that is about the life of János Hunyadi, a Hungarian noble and captain who was responsible for stopping the Ottoman invasion in the 15th century.
It is a kind of mix of Vikings (as for the historical part) and Game Of Thrones (as for the nudity and sex scenes
