It's only a couple of weeks until Halloween, so it's time for us to begin getting into the spirit of things.
Until the end of the month I'm going to post links to four or five short but sweetly terrifying stories. I'll add a link to this thead every few days.
I'm also thinking about starting a ghost story thread where we can share personal experiences or secondhand encounters.
As for the first story, I've selected a real hellraiser from my favorite author H.P. Lovecraft.
So turn off all the lights, get comfortable and lose yourself in The Statement of Randolph Carter.

And to kick off the Halloween season, I've found a neat online game. It's short, sweet, and... well, you'll see! Enjoy!

Oh I am definitely doing a pumpkin this year! That is an outstanding presentation, and it even plays smoothly on my UNIVAC!
Design D is the one for me since it will show up better in my apartment window. I'll get started on that this week.
Great find BL, thanks for sharing!

Here's your next story.
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is famous for creating the most well know fictional character in all of literature: Sherlock Holmes. While there are elements of horror in some of the Holmes stories, Doyle penned quite a few dedicated tales of terror.
This is my favorite: The Terror Blue John Gap.
