I've initially planned to do some video editing to create a few "compilations" instead of many individual video clips, but had some problem in the process so I'll stick to the original solution.

I tried in Premiere Pro and Vegas Pro, had some aspect ratio and framerate problems (because HyperCam, which I use for capturing, apparently creates some tricky values for these video editors to handle).
So in the end I'm sticking with VirtualDub which is enough to edit a single video and encode it.

What do you mean "this day" ? No working on Sunday lol.
Besides she was out since Thursday (and I believe she will only be back next Tuesday or Wednesday) because she went to the E3 in Los Angeles this weekend (lucky her !).

I think that you can reduce the amount of space needed for the movies. a bit rate of 24 Mb/s is too much..

this is a method that I've found : I set hypercam2 , xvid mpeg4 code, 750 kps, no audio (my pc can't do that), 30fps, keyframe every 100 frame, frame compression quality: 200%

then, I open nandub for edit my videos.to join more videos, you have to choose "append video file". I choose in audio set: no audio, in video settings: direct stream copy, and then save old format avi...

do that, and you'll obtain a video file with the same bitrate choosen in hypercam.

Thanks for the tips elioss, I still prefer to use h264 over XviD for MPEG-4 but I could lower the bitrate a bit indeed. I think I also didn't bother removing the audio track (which is stupid since it's blank). And I forgot about "append video file" lol, I'm pretty sure VirtualDub has it too.
I'll try differents settings for my next caps later this week.

She may have been asked to, or she just felt like changing by herself, since they have a whole shoe collection on a corner of their office.
