Is anyone else having a hard time downloading these? My Firefox download plugin seems to default to FLV on most of them; if it does manage to pull down an MP4, the file is unusable. I've downloaded a couple using JDownloader, but not all will work. I'm hoping it's just that they broke something in the plugin!

I usually change the coding when I titled the download to whatever I want it to be. Such as Clothing.mpeg and it'll ask you to force the original or keep the change, just keep the change. Not sure how to upload these into youtube using higher quality anyway, I have upconverted all these videos to 720p but not sure how to upload tthem as such. Any thoughts?

Either way, they're better than my old VHS :-)

Seems to be a recent issue with DownloadHelper, or at least I'll assume so since there was just a push update. It's not just your videos, after further testing, though they seem awfully prone to it. Sometimes it'll pull them down as MPEGs, sometimes as FLVs, and the MPEGs are always unplayable. Which plugin are you using?

You can either use a free software like Youtube Downloader HD or an online service like Keepvid, both work great. I just downloaded the Chris Scanlon one as a test without any problem

I actually tried a couple this morning and they came through fine; looks to be a temporary glitch with the plugin, maybe.
