The danger of walking in stockings

I found this in a new issue of a magazine:

"In one case, a woman fell
in her office and suffered injuries.
Investigators discovered she had been walking
in her stockings. The woman had been
told before to always wear shoes in the office;
her refusal to do so was an example of not
using good judgment or common sense."

I never realized women who go shoeless could be in greater danger of falling. I can understand they might be in greater danger of stepping on something nasty and dangerous, but it seems a woman in high heels or flip- flops would have a greater danger of falling. I have seen so many women go shoeless in offices that I cannot believe anyone gives them warnings for safety reasons.

When my wife wears stockings and certain heels, she has to be cautious. Apparently, her feet slightly slip around in these shoes when she's wearing hosiery so she has be extra careful when walking around.

I will not be surprised if some politically correct fools ban the stockings by law in order to protect the lifes of female office workers! :?

It probably happened in the break room where it was tiles instead of carpet.Even if you were wearing socks you are going to slide on tile.

The problem with this article is that it would convince some women not to wear stockings.We stocking lovers cant get a break nowadays :roll: :roll: :roll:
