Since the Chancellor of Germany is a woman, I have no idea who this person is. Angela Merkel is a sixty year old lady. Are you sure it's Germany?

It's the Presidents wife. Germany has a chancellor (which you identified right as Angela Merkel, she does the work) and a President (mainly for representative issues).
