auto show

i attended the auto show recently was was pleasantly surprised. In years past
there were mainly boots but this time it was mainly pumps, some very high
uncomfortable pumps.
I did not see alot of show play becuase of the time of day i went but those poor
girls feet were killing them.
I first spoke to a spokesmopdel for cadallac who was mid thiries attractive
wearing a blouse and black skirt. she had on three inch black peep toe pumps. i
own a cadallac and we spoke about it. she talked about traveling the auto show
circut and i asked her if her feet hurt by the end of the day. she said "oh
that is really the hardestday. it's the shoes and i think it effects everyone.
i then spoke to a beautiful blonde in a black turtleneck and short black shirt.
she part of this job is that your feet alway hurt so bad at the end of the was
wearing over the knee high boots with 5 inch spike heels with a 1 inch platform.
i said to her my wife would love your boots. she said "they are cute but they
are not very comfortable. i asked if her feet hurt and she said,"oh yeah long
days they really hurt."
then there was a beautful brunette in black skirt suit with 5 inch black pointed
toe pumps. she was standing behind the counter shifting her weight but not
dipping. i could tell she was in pain. i asked her about one of the cars and
she gave me the info. i asked her how the show was going and she said it was
slow. I asked if her feet hurt in those shoes at the end of the day and she
said,"oh yeah reaaly bad"
i saw a beatuful black girl in a black dress wearing 5 inch black pumps that
looked like they killed. another spokes model in a pant suit with lower heeled
boots walked by the balck lady who lifted up her shoes and said look at these
refering to her killer heels the booted girl said how are the insoles and was
told not good. the booted girl said mine are nice and squishee. the black girl
said i wish i was wearing thoese referring to the boots. i tries to get a
chance to talk the the black lady but couldn't until she left her stand. i said
those heels must be killing you, she said they are and i am going on lunch.
she left for lunch.
i spoke to two women dressin with white blouses, black skirts and black flats.
i said you guys must be happy to be in flat shoes, they said we are. we had
other shoes but they were so uncomfortable that we decided to wear flats
instead.
a beautiful blond in a brown pantsuit and black mid calf boots with a two inch
stack heels. i saw her lift her leg on the stand. i asked her for info on a car
and she gave me the info. i asked how her feet were at the end of the day. she
said well not to bad. i have a break coming up and i am going to take off my
shoes and rest my feet.
there was a beautiful short blond in a black dress and 5 inch black rounded toe
pumps with a small platform. her feet were swollen. i said boy those shoes must
hurt. she said," yeah i mean its these are my comfortable shoes. the other
ones i have hurt too bad so i am just trying to get by. it is tough you know it
is what it is.
the best was a beautiful girl early twentiers. long straight black hair. and
slims dark framed glasses. she was wearing a white pant suit with white pumps
with about a 4 inch heel. she said hello as i walked by and then turned and
walked to behind her stand. she stopped and slipped her right foot out of her
pump and sweezeed her toes. i said you feet killing you, She looked at me with
such pain in her eyes and said," ugh, i have two different pairs of shoes, one
are higher and i have the lower pair on they both hurt so bad." i asked if she
had to do 8 hours and she said yes until 9:00. it was about 3:30 at the time.
i said my wife use to do trade shows and she alway complained about her feet.
she said"your feet are never the same afterwards." she said it was her first
season on the auto show circit. i asked if she was warned about her feet
hurting and she said yes. then she said "ugh" she said it wouldn't be bad if
she could wear flats.
she said some of the girls at the show can wear flats i wouldn't mind it but in
heels it's too much standing all day. i told her my wife handled it with ice and
red wine and she laughed.
i wish i could have stayed to the end. but i was very happy with the results.
