Do you own a tablet? And if so...how do you use it for work?

Speaking for myself... i still have to find a good use of it. Being 12 hours per day in front of a laptop for work, i just can't find ways to use my tablet unless i'm at some conference for work (it's perfect for taking notes).

And you? What's your job? And how do you use your tablet?

Company issued IPad. Wasn't crazy about it when I first received one a couple years back, but after a while, I found it to be very effective for me.

I travel a lot, so it's very convenient to pull it out at the airport when needed for emails and such when the phone won't do, and not have to fire up the laptop. I can also forgo the laptop at times entirely, which literally lightens my load.

Like you, I find it very convenient for taking notes since I spend a lot of time in meetings.

All said, it's light, compact and quick. All of which are very appealing to me. Obviously, some times a laptop is needed, but the tablet has been a great supplement.
