You know what's great about the segment? You never see her shoes. Most hostesses will remove their shoes during the segment, leaving their heels next to the chair, or maybe off to the side of the set. In this case, they're nowhere to be seen. Gotta wonder how long she's been roaming about the set in her nylon feet.

I noticed and really liked this as well! I also liked that she got up and walked around and never had shoes on when walking around the studio. Walking around shoeless is something that you only see on rug shows, and we hardly see it there anymore. I loved this clip! :thanx:

most of the other hosts have been doing it too but they been putting on socks over the nylons or barefeet :( Jane Treacy was on the other day with the massager with black tights but put on socks while getting that massage. she also walked around the studio in her socks. to be honest Jane has been a disappointment lately. she never seems to wear nylons anymore during her shoe shows and she's been wearing boots alot lately so no shoeplay :(

It's an artifact of the current fashion trends (women love their tall sexy boots this time of year), the editing/filming awareness, and just general host proclivities. Twenty years ago in my teen years, you only needed to look at Lisa Mason or Chris Scanlon for their shoes to tumble off their feet. But at that time, hosts invariably wore suits, hose and heels for everything from jewelry shows to exercise shows. Need to demonstrate this workout equipment? Just ditch the heels and give it a go in stocking feet. The track suits and casualwear they transitioned to for stuff like that wasn't as titillating for us, but was far more practical.

Though just as thrilling as the predictable rug and bedding and exercise shows were the random acts of shoelessness. Lisa Mason slipping off one heel and sitting on one folded foot trying to rub some feeling into it, or losing one and then both heels during a purse show because her feet hurt. Part of it was surely the host's comfort level, but if she had to unbuckle five straps or unzip knee-high boots, chances are good we wouldn't have seen that back then, either.

Man, Jane Treacy had a 4 hour show on Sunday and was in heels. But the camera guy and the set designers made sure you couldn't see a damn thing knowing she is an avid dipper. I haven't watched the last :30 yet, but really bummed out that the producers and camera guys go out if their way not to show something that is natural and exists everywhere in public places. They act as though it's some kind of porn.

yes i noticed that too. that show sucked. 4 hours and nothing! and rest was the guy host. it looked like she dipped at least once but the camera was to high to see it. it looked like she was from the leg movements.
