Hello Ladies and Gentlemen! Lately my channel was under attack by some low life scumbag (or scumbags) and as a result of that I turned all my videos to "not listed" in order to protect my channel. This is going to continue for the time being until the situation gets better. So all my new videos will be "not listed" and I decided to post the links exclusively here and in the "Greek foot" forum. He doesn't "collect" any of this, aside from a tiny handful of clips from Greek TV. Everything else is scavenged from other people's playlists. His own profile pic is one I found.
He doesn't own any of this content, nor did he find it, and he's not certainly doing this as a favor for anyone. Why do you think he's uploading the same videos multiple times, and looping them in slow motion?

Actually, that's not accurate. In the past people who have followed his channel have seen on numerous occasions where people would thank him for putting up the videos they sent him. At one point, you could actually send him a message on Youtube, and sometimes e-mail and send him a few links that he'd work on.
He's obviously a collector, and he's definitely done it for the community in the past.
But, I'm curious; what criterion signifies, to you, an act of charity in this community?

Okay. let's go through your points one by one:

This doesn't falsify the proposition I posited. All it shows, to the extent that it's even true (which is dubious in itself) is that some people have perceived him to be doing this for selfless reasons, which is not the same thing as that perception being accurate, and mine being inaccurate. Again, he doesn't find these videos, and he posts them whether anyone asks him to or not -including some I linked to when I was still naive enough to contribute to the "accidentally discovered" thread. Now, according to social blade his channel is currently making 0 money, but for obvious reasons that's likely a very recent change because last time I checked, the channel was estimated to be raking in a little over $1,200 a month.
And if he's just our pal doing us all a big favor, why does he keep reposting the same videos multiple times, almost all of them from several years ago?
I'll tell you: Because as I said, he doesn't find any himself, except a few from Greek TV. He also loops them in slow motion, and there's no reason to do that except to artificially inflate engagement time for the algorithms.
His behavior has also spawned a handful of copycat scavenger channels also looking to make easy money, like "Gut Bustaw" "Shoeplayers", and "James Shawn". These channels are parasitic and all they do is attract commenters to the original videos like flies to a picnic. And quite frankly, I despise them for it.

There was a thread a little over a week ago where someone uploaded a few cropped and upscaled videos in a way that appears pretty untraceable and has no readily apparent financial incentive. I'd say that counts, or at least passes the sniff test.
Now I'm certainly not going to do that, but that's because although there was a time when I had enough goodwill for this "community" left in me to go to that kind of trouble, that time is long past.

I'm about to get permabanned and Danglingfan isn't, despite my calmly having made very incisive criticisms that everyone knows damn well are not easily rebutted, and his having replied by incoherently shouting profanities.
