In my part of the USA it's been 98 percent sneakers this winter. Only see the boots during rain or snow.

I honestly don't see things changing with sneakers maybe more sandals mixed in imo

I don't know where you live but you have to be a lucky man. In Europe the situation is literally tragic. Sneakers are everywhere. I don't remember so bad time and each year is worse than the previous one. Gen Z women don't know that anything different that winter boots, sneakers and sandals exists. They have dropped heels and ballet flats at all and prefer wearing sneakers even during their final exams in high schools! Terrible, ugly times and nothing seems that there will be some significant change in the future. Our civilization is going to the end...
