Anyone have any advertising connections?

Post by larlibra007 »

I found this UK ad website that has some footsie ads on it, but it looks like you have to be somehow involved with advertising to view/order the ads. It looks like it runs about $10 US to view an ad. You have to register to search for ads there. Anybody think that the can have better luck with the ads there than I did?

Here's a link to the website's footsie search results page:

Awesome catch, LL! Actually, I'm a member of that site. I'm glad I saved that old e-mail with my username and password. I've registered with them when I was trying to get that footsie scene from that Scoot ad. I'll see what I can do to get some of those footsie ads, depending on the price. Later, and thanks again!

Bad news, LL. As promised, I've tried to obtain those footsie ads you've discoved, or get the price of each one. But a sales rep sent me an e-mail saying that I don't have a business e-mail address.... in the advertising field, at least. My apologies for not responding back to you sooner. I guess it's back to square one.

Do you think there's any way around this? Some of those ads sounded really promising from the descriptions.

I agree, and I would love to have those footsie ads on our fourm. But without a legitimate business e-mail address, it's a no-no. I'm sure that someone could give us a hand.

Babylove...what do they define "a business e-mail address"?

I mean... if the problem is just to have an e-mail address not provided by free internet providers... i can surely provide you one!

That'll be cool, Nyl. I'll have to e-mail them again to find out about that "bussiness" e-mail thing.
