Oh yeah;I have worked in 3 of them during Xmas. If you dig looking at women's feet, that it the place to be. I think I posted my experiences elsewhere on this board. I don't want to get into long stories and take up unnecessary space. Lets just say it was ummm...fun. Sometimes good for shoeplay too. :imslow:

I don't know about working at a shoe store. Personally, I keep thinking back to the Married With Children episode. Al Bundy would always have to work with some fat customer who can't fit into the right sized shoe. On top of that, I don't know if there are any attractive feet out there unless you work at a top of the line shoe store like Prada or something like that. Not to be harsh to anyone out there, but I've been lurking around shoe stores before the internet and I just haven't seen anything fascinating.

What I would do the attractive ladies I'll give them the royal treatment by handling their feet the ugly ones I would just hand them the shoes to try on.

I can tell you from personal experience that there are all sort of female customers who come in. I have worked Macy's twice and Nordstrom's once and the only difference is the class of the clientelle and the money they spend. Most middle class shoppers do not shop at Nordstroms unless a: they are hard to fit b: they like the better shoes. On the other hand, Macy's attracts the younger and easier to fit crowd. (the younger ones don't have the money to spend on pricey shoes) The internet is the wildcard in this. I am sure they are having some impact. Ijust don't know how much. I agree that shoestores are not the best place for shoeplay. You might see some dangling and dipping at Xmas time and maybe during sales, but otherwise I have always looked elsewhere. I think cafes during lunch hour in the business district is a good area. But not as good as it used to be when all women wore heels and hose. Seem like nearly everyone has the casual look these days. I see lots of women take food back to work also. That way they can eat inthe comfort of their own cubicle and take their shoes off or do whatever.

Again way before the internet was invented, I would always go to the airport to check out flight attendants. Remember this was way before 9/11 so anyone can feel free to go in and take a look at the gates. Nowadays, I think it is a luxury to go to an airport and look for danglers and dippers. Anyhoo, I think shoe stores are great to see them take shoes on and off, but if you want to go look for shoeplay it's the airport. Most of the flight attendants are still wearing high heels and they're always playing with their shoes whether they're sitting there waiting for their next flight or at the phone booth making a phone call. I tried to take pics before with my cell phone recently, but they tend to "notice" and put their shoes back on. It's quite a bummer. But besides coffee shops, this is a really good alternative. Any other places guys?

At the airports in my area, I haven't seen anything lately. Flight attendants are wearing comfy shoes (not slip ons and certainly not pumps) . You can't even get close to a ticket agent. Gate agents are also wearing those comfy shoes. So it looks like I either go to the wrong airports, take the wrong flights, or live in the wrong part of the country; maybe all 3. I usually take Southwest Airlines to and from Burbank, CA and I don't see squat. I have looked at all the gates and agents and I see very little. But I DO wish I had a camera phone; sort of. But I heard the resolution is not very good. I think it is just easier overall to just buy a tape.

I rarely did any flying before 1997 so I can't talk about those times. But I can remember when anyone could go into the gate area without anyone seeing anything. Now thanks to 9/11 and Osama bin Laden, you can't go anywhere. How times have changed. :bleh:
