Re: Womenโs Attire in the USA is a Sad State of Affairs
I never been to London and Paris but been to Germany, Czech Republic and Hungary. Hose was everywhere. This year I'm going to Iceland to go hiking and renting a Jeep to drive the backroads. I don't expect to see much hose there but I don't travel just for hose. I'm single so I will be talking to women there and go on dates. It's always good to travel and leave the US.

Here, in Norway, women dress very well and of course, pantyhose is present. Iโve seen loads of shoeplay during the 17. mai celebrations.

I think it's so wrong to generalize like this, The way women dress isn't a "national" thing, most of the time. I mean, if you go around the place I live, you would think Italian women dress only casually. But that's just because it's a small town. Go to Milan, Florence or Rome...and it's a totally different story.
And I can't believe this won't be the same in other countries.

Correct. Even in the US where it is mostly casual, you're a lot more likely to find nylons and shoeplayable shoes in the cities.nyllover wrote: Tue May 19, 2026 5:05 pm I think it's so wrong to generalize like this, The way women dress isn't a "national" thing, most of the time.
