I had to go to the dentist this morning (a bad enough experience anytime but I broke a tooth last week and that will cost big money to repair). But obviously that has nothing to with feet.
A young black lady, possibly from Jamaica, considering her accent, did my X-rays. I never had a chance to check out her feet. Then I was moved to the dentist's office and while I sat in the chair, I heard the assistant moving around behind me, I guess putting up the X-rays on a lighted board for the dentist to see. The worst thing was that I was facing directly away toward the opposite wall, and I could hear her dipping away. Sounded like she had clog-type shoes on and they would tap a little and then it sounded like she squeezed the foot back in, making a softer sound than the tapping, I guess when settling her foot inside. This went on for like 10 minutes, as she talked to another assistant. I wanted to turn around so bad, but had no acceptable reason for doing so. After my exam I saw her again and did manage to look down at her feet but she was wearing very long trousers and I could not see much at all. At least she took my mind off my tooth for a little. Now I can get depressed again at the coming bill.
Very frustrating experience
