Is Patreon safe?

Last time many sites on Patreon selling candid content that used to be available few years ago in C4S or Pornhub were opened. But I'm not sure if this is safe for both sellers and clients. First of all, there is a huge problem with copyrights. I'm sure that most of sellers are not real owners of the content. Secondly, I wonder if buying subscriptions to watch materials filmed illegally (and probably illegaly owned) is safe for clients. What is your opinion? Is it worth to risk?

Patreon itself is a very serious platform.
No one will ever come after you for buying that content, just don't expect those profiles to stay up forever. Sooner or later they will be shut down, as candid videos just cannot be sold anymore online. At least not on famous and big platforms like patreon
