Saw this last night. It puts those of us who like feet in a bad light, that we are not "regular" guys. Guy is painting woman's toenails with her foot in his lap. He asks her how he is doing and she is thrilled. He says maybe they need another coat. Then announcer breaks in and says "You're not that guy! So you need to buy her diamonds." or something to that affect.
I would love to be that guy! But the commercial ends by saying, "For regular guys, there are diamonds." to rub it in that if you like feet, you're not a regular guy. Very insulting. I can't imagine how this will help their business. Are you supposed to laugh at a guy being interested in doing the woman's nails and think I am better than that so I will go buy diamonds? Just seems to be a gratuitous insult to men who like feet and women who like guys who like feet. It's a shame because I think the actors seemed to genuinely enjoy what they were doing and why portray them so sensibly and favorably in actions when the narration put them down?
